Scholars believe St. Joseph was born 90 BC and died AD 18.  St. Joseph has two feast days,March 19 for Joseph the Husband of Mary and May 1, the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker. Joseph was a carpenter by trade and because of his love and compassion for Mary, when she became pregnant with Jesus, Joseph took her in after the angel came and told him Mary was carrying the Son of God.
