This lovely full rosary wrap was created using African “jade” quartz for the Hail Mary beads and intricately detailed antiqued brass plated pewter beads for the Our Father beads. Both the simple crucifix and the miraculous medal are recast in pure bronze from vintage medals.

 The green beads, also known as West African “jade”, are a type of quartz (natural). There are a wide range of colors found in the opaque to semi-transparent green beads. They vary from light to dark green and include tans, browns and occasional black coloring.  The lighter areas of these beads can have more translucency. African “jade” is a blend of colors with varying swirls, crackles, bands and spotted patterns which all add to the interest of each individual bead.
