"When It Rains..."
As I look outside my window and see the sheets of rain pelting the yard I can't help thinking the old idiom (a little altered) "When it rains it torrential downpours." Kind of like my life this week. I'm feeling overwhelmed with the craziness of the family schedule, monetarily being hit by buying a new dishwasher, new tires, school tuition, school fundraisers and field trips plus birthdays thrown in. The house looking like a disaster only exasperates the stress and the feeling of not enough time! So yeah, I'm having a pity party. Which only makes me want to shake myself and say "Enough wallowing, get over yourself and focus on riding out this chaos until life calms down!" Because it will calm down. A lesson I've learned over the years is life is not stagnant but fluid and constantly changing. I wouldn't appreciate the relaxed, life going smoothly days, without experiencing these intense stress filled ones. So life, bring it on! I'll wade through until I see the sun (or is that "Son") once again!
Peace and Joy,
Sue
