Mom's favorite Bible verse

Hello everyone, I'm Patty sister #8 and Thursday's blogger. I think I echo all of my sisters sentiments when I say I'm a bit freaked out by this whole blogging thing. But when you don't have a brick and mortar store you have to come up with creative ways to share a bit of yourself and get to know your customers.

I'm tied with Laurie and Sue in the kid department. (Although Laurie and I did it more efficiently with each of us having a set of twins.) My husband David and I have six kids, 3 boys and 3 girls. They range in age from 14 - 3. The first 4 were born within the span of 3 years and 1 month, to the day. My oldest Elijah was 16 months old when we were surprised with twins, Johanna and Coleman.The twins were 17 months when we welcomed little Zoe. Almost 6 years went by before Maximilian was born. (yep, he was named after St. Maximilian Kolbe) And our last daughter Ellie was born 2 years later.

I am an illustrator and graphic designer (not a writer!) so I thought that I would use a lot of my Thursday posts to share some of my artwork with you. I have created several images based on bible verses, saints quotes and other inspirational Christian authors that I plan on sharing in the coming months.

I created the image below to remind  me of my mom’s favorite verse, Romans 8:28. In fact we thought of naming our company 8:28 in honor of her.
