This is a medal which you do not see often. It depicts Our Lady of Good Hope. The crowned Blessed Virgin is holding Jesus in her arms, surrounded by two angels. The reverse depicts Jesus sitting on a throne with a cross in one hand and a staff in the other. these words encircle Jesus: Señor de la Buena Esperanza, Tened Piedad de Nosotros’. Translated means: ‘Lord of Good Hope have mercy on us’.
